A proposal for four detached towers with an allround orientation and private loggias between the treetops. The ensemble consists of a total of twenty houses. The placement of the residential towers between existing trees creates a sheltered atmosphere and an intimate experience of nature. In the middle of the building area, terraces connect both the towers to each other and by means of stairs and an elevator to the surrounding landscape. The terraces are staggered so that views upwards and downwards are possible.
Each tower combines various typologies with ground-level dwellings, apartments and maisonettes. The houses are all designed around a living room with a loggia, giving a central organisation with pleasantly dimensioned rooms without corridors. The towers are designed as clear monoliths, built with a cross laminated timber construction and with the often discarded round edge of the tree trunks as cladding.
