The design for the general scenography for Collectible in the modernistic Vanderborght building creates a playful and wondrous entrance, a space that can be discovered - like a palace, a ruïne, or a cave. As a reaction to the very unique and special objects in the Design fair, it uses a rather common material instead. However by adjusting and stacking blocks in such a way we conceived making a space, an architecture, with a similar inventiveness as making a piece of furniture. Some parts, surfaces to be touched, are finished with clay paste or layer of felt.
